| Comments: | Marcus Taylor writes: This photo was taken sometime during WW1, my grandfather is on the left Cpl. David Wilfred Harker. Being a Yorkshireman at the time he joined the Yorks & Lancs, though later the D.L.I. after it was decimated. He was wounded in the leg which left him with a permanent limp and was gassed. He finished the war in Salonika. After being bombed out of his home in the 2nd World War he 'emmigrated' to Spennymoor. In Memory of David Wilfred Harker 1894-1967 |
