Oil painting of the former Tudhoe Iron Works titled "Coke ovens and resevoir" by local artist Herbert Dees. Herbert had associataions with the Spennymoor Settlement movement and other artists like Norman Cornish and Tom McGuiness.

Herbert, better known as Bertie Dees lived in Weardale Street.
