"This photograph was taken on 9 September 1932 at the wedding of Fred Denyer and Blanche Wintersgill (both members of Salvation Army). The man second to the left is George Lowery.

"The genterman in the back row (in Civies) is Samual Wintersgill father of Blanche.

"The other people in the photograph were all memebers of the Salvation Army (Spennymoor Branch) nothing else known."
